Scholarships truly are the best way to ensure that today’s students persist to graduation. Scholarships allow students to enroll full time and remain focused on their studies; they also reduce drop-out rates, decrease the stress of student loans, and shorten the road to graduation.

The Department of Development does not accept applications for or distribute scholarships. Scholarships are distributed through the University’s Office of Student Financial Aid.

The Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship, born out of the vision and dedication of the Biomedical Engineering Council, is more than a financial award. As part of the larger educational initiative, We Rise Together, the Campaign for The University of Akron, The Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship signifies a collective effort to uplift and empower the academic community.
The purpose of The Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship is to assist promising full-time undergraduate students pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering at The University of Akron. The scholarship will be awarded to students who maintain satisfactory academic progress and may be renewed for a maximum of eight semesters. Renewal of the scholarship is contingent upon the student's maintenance of good academic standing, continued pursuit of a biomedical engineering degree, and full-time enrollment. Recipients shall be selected 黄色直播 Scholarship Committee in the Office of Student Financial Aid.
