VEW Hearing Aid Program

The VEW Hearing Aid Program was established by the late Virginia E. Wilson in June 2000 in support for The University of Akron’s Audiology and Speech Center.  Originally established for the acquisition of hearing aids to loan to clinic patients, the fund was revised in October 2017 and its purpose broadened to allow for the procurement of testing equipment and advanced technology needed to accomplish modern hearing aid evaluation and fittings for determining the best hearing care solutions for clinic patients.
