Oldham, Albert and Vern Intellectual Property Law Endowment

What now is known as Oldham, Oldham & Wilson Co., L.P.A., originally was founded in 1947 by two brothers, Albert H. Oldham and Vern L. Oldham, both of whom attended the old Akron Law School. Named in memory of the founders of Oldham & Oldham, a patent law firm, The Albert and Vern Oldham Intellectual Property Law Endowment was made possible by its senior partner, Edwin W. (Ned) Oldham, and other members of the firm. The Intellectual Enterprise Lecture Series will be devoted to patent, copyright, and trademark law. Although the lecture series will address Intellectual Property Law generally, the series will include an innovation and entrepreneurial spirit as well. The firm's practice includes patent, trademark, copyright and unfair competition law, litigation, licensing and technology law, and foreign patent law.
