Kleffman, John I. Scholarship Fund

The John I. Kleffman Scholarship Fund was established in 1996 with a gift from Mr. John I. Kleffman in appreciation for the education he received at The University of Akron. Mr. Kleffman attended evening classes at the University for 9-1/2 years while working full time during the day. He earned his B.S.B.A. from the College of Business Administration in 1955. Mr. Kleffman recognizes the demands students attending evening classes must face and wishes to offer financial assistance through this scholarship to part-time students attending evening classes. Preference will be given, but not limited to, students majoring in business administration or education. Recipients may apply for renewal of this scholarship. Selection of recipients by the University Scholarship Committee. Additional contributions are welcome from alumni and friends who wish to support the purpose of this scholarship.
