History Endowment Fund

The History Endowment Fund was established in 1986 in recognition of the retirement of Dr. Warren Kuehl. It is an open-ended fund to which contributions can be made to honor other faculty who retire in coming years. The annual income from the endowment will be used to support research, travel to scholarly archives, and similar expenses incurred by history students, especially graduate students. The fund also will underwrite colloquia featuring visiting scholars and policymakers who will make presentations to students, faculty, and the general public. Other needs, such as special library or archival purchases, might also be met from this fund. Expenditures of the fund will be determined by the Department of History.
