Coffey, Stephen A. Memorial Student Scholarship Fund
The Stephen A. Coffey Memorial Student Scholarship Fund was established to assist students in the Graduate Anesthesia Program in the College of Nursing. This scholarship fund is unique because it is intended to help students in times of emergency and will provide timely assistance that other scholarships are not designated to meet. Repayment of the total amount without interest will be made by the individuals within one year of graduation or withdrawal from the Nurse Anesthesia Program at The University of Akron. Repayment from these individuals after graduation will be returned to the fund and made available to future students. Distribution of the funds will be by application and selected by the director of the Graduate Nurse Anesthesia Program with approval by Fred or Joy Coffey.
