Ferbstein, Lee Scholarship Fund

The Akron Education Association established this scholarship fund in 1979 as a tribute to Lee Ferbstein, for more than 30 years AEA legal counsel and a former member of the University's Board of Directors. The Lee Ferbstein Scholarship covers tuition, books, fees, room and board, all or in part, for a student enrolled in the School of Law, with primary interest in the field of Labor Law. The student should be a resident of Akron, Ohio, and a third year law student; otherwise there are no restrictions as to race, creed, color, sex or national origin. Selection of the recipient is determined by the Dean of the School of Law, with assistance by the University Relations Committee of the Akron Education Association.
