McClellan, Ernest E. and Lois M. Endowed Scholarship
The Ernest E. and Lois M. McClellan Endowed Scholarship was created in 1997 to assist students pursuing careers in chemistry or chemical engineering. Mr. McClellan received a B.S. in chemical engineering in 1949 from Purdue University and an M.S. in chemistry from The University of Akron in 1953. After working 20 years in the polymer industry, Mr. McClellan committed his expertise in plastics by co-founding Plast-O-Meric Inc. in 1968. Today the company has plants in the United States and United Kingdom and specializes in the custom manufacturing of vinyl, urethane, polyurethane, and plastisol ink compounds.
