Moore, Dr. Linda L. Endowed Scholarship Fund in Fine and Applied Arts

The Dr. Linda L. Moore Endowed Scholarship Fund in Fine and Applied Arts was created in 1998 through a gift from Judy and Roger Read in honor of Dr. Moore's accomplishments as dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts from 1992 to 1998. Earnings from this endowed fund will be used to provide financial assistance to students majoring in one of the programs within the College of Fine and Applied Arts. Initially, awards will be given annually to a student in the fine arts programs and a student in the applied arts programs. As funds build, additional scholarships are to be created until a scholarship is given in each school within the College. At that time, the amount of the annual awards will be increased as additional funds become available. Recipients of the scholarship will be selected annually by the dean of the College in coordination with the Office of Student Financial Aid.
