Developmental Programs Tutorial Endowment
The Developmental Programs Tutorial Endowment was established in 1998 by Dr. Diane Vukovich to benefit tutors from Department of Developmental Programs who work in the peer tutoring program or as peer tutors in the Mathematics Laboratory, Writing Laboratory or Study Skills Center. Dr. Vukovich, who has devoted many years of service to The University of Akron, was instrumental in the establishment of the University Developmental Program, worked in the program, and is the author of the mathematics textbook, “Math is not a Spectator Sport.”
