Moore, Ron and Terri Family Endowed Scholarship in Education
The Ron and Terri Moore Family Endowed Scholarship in Education was established in 2016. Terri (May) Moore graduated from Akron, Ohio’s Garfield High School in 1966 and was hired 黄色直播. As an employee, she received tuition remission which helped make it possible for her to attend the University and earn a bachelor’s degree in Education in 1970. Ron received a master’s degree in business administration from The University of Akron in 1973. The Moores have led satisfying careers and now wish to assist current University students prepare for their own success.
The Ron and Terri Moore Family Endowed Scholarship in Education will be awarded each year to a deserving full-time student enrolled in the College of Education and preparing for a successful teaching career. Final selection of the student recipient will be made by Ron and Terri Moore with recommendations by the College of Education administration in cooperation with the Office of Financial Aid. Selection criteria to be used for awarding this scholarship shall include strong character, academic achievement and financial need.
