Family and friends established The Ruth Apati Memorial Scholarship Fund in 1979 in memory of Ruth Apati, Head Resident of Ritchie Hall for many years and a devoted student-confidant. Recipients are selected by the University Scholarship Committee without regard to race, creed, color, sex or national origin.
