Kastner, Harley M. and Carol L. Scholarship Fund

The Harley M. and Carol L. Kastner Scholarship Fund was originally established in 1994 by Harley Kastner to honor the two people who had the greatest influence in his life, his parents, Francis and Dorothy Kastner. Almost fifteen years later Harley Kastner, 59, died from pancreatic cancer. We remember Harley for his exceptional talent in the practice of labor and employment law, his commitment to clients, his devotion to family, and his passion for golf. Harley's legacy is carried on in the practice of law at Kastner Westman & Wilkins, the boutique employment law firm he helped establish in 2000. The inaugural Harley Kastner Invitational was hosted on July 22, 2009 on the South course at Firestone Country Club to celebrate Harley's life and help support the scholarship.

The Harley M. and Carol L. Kastner Scholarship Fund provides tuition assistance to deserving students enrolled in good standing in the School of Law on the basis of financial need, leadership capability, academic achievement, and professional bearing. Award(s) will be determined upon recommendation of the School of Law Scholarship Committee.
