Darsky, Rose and Julius Scholarship

The endowed Rose and Julius Darsky Scholarship was established in honor of Rose and Julius Darsky by Dorothy and Samuel Cohen, Shirley and Stanford Lerner, Arlene and Bertram Lockshin, and Joyce and Robert Lockshin. The income is used annually for the purpose of providing scholarship assistance to any worthy person attending The University of Akron. Preference is given to those who are unable to be employed while attending college due to a physical handicap. Selection of the recipient is made by the University Scholarship Committee.
