Serpentini Chevrolet Buick of Orrville Scholarship

The Serpentini Chevrolet Buick of Orrville Scholarship was established by Bob Serpentini in 2019 to support University of Akron Wayne College students. Bob has owned the Orrville dealership, his first, since 1980. He was the youngest at the forefront first-generation owner of a Chevrolet dealership. Throughout his career, he has forged ahead to improve his dealerships and become an industry leader, someone who is also a leader in giving back to the communities where he does business.

The Orrville area has always held a special place in Bob Serpentini's heart. He has financially supported numerous ventures, as well as local non-profit organizations. By establishing this scholarship at Wayne College, Bob is again strengthening the community through his philanthropy. The Serpentini Chevrolet Buick of Orrville Scholarship is designed to help as many as five students per year, making an even greater impact on the community.

Eligible students are graduates of Orrville or Smithville high schools. Students must be enrolled full-time at Wayne College and have demonstrated financial need. Scholarship selection will be determined by the designated Wayne College representative or committee as funds are available.
