Heritage Endowment for Zips in Need
The Heritage Endowment for Zips in Need was established in 2021 by an anonymous donor for the purpose of supporting University of Akron students who have a demonstrated financial need.
Annual distributions from The Heritage Endowment for Zips in Need shall be allocated to ZipAssist and used at the discretion of the Director of ZipAssist, or the designee of the Vice President for Student Success, to meet the varying financial needs of students. Use of monies for anything other than qualified educational expenses would be considered an award and will be reportable and/or taxable to the recipient.
