Oriana House/Judge Ted Schneiderman Endowed Human Services Scholarship

The Oriana House/Judge Ted Schneiderman Endowed Human Services Scholarship was created in 2005. Oriana House is a nonprofit agency serving Summit County with a mission of providing quality and humane chemical dependency treatment and community corrections services to clients while contributing to safer communities.

The scholarship will be awarded annually to a student in Summit College who is pursuing a four-year degree in one of three fields: political science/criminal justice, sociology/corrections, or community service technology – alcohol services. The award will rotate such that a student is selected from each field at least once every three years. The recipient must have a GPA of 2.5 or above and will be chosen by a committee in the Summit College in conjunction with Financial Aid.
